The staff and food create an inviting atmosphere that I truly appreciate. Working nearby allows me to enjoy delicious steak and scallops hibachi for lunch, along with their irresistible cheese ravioli and noodles. With friendly service and consistently fresh meals, dining at Akai Japan has become a cherished experience that I look forward to a couple of times each month.

The food in general is good. The sushi is way too small and always warm. I drive to Greenville for Sushi because I can get 2 for 1 and the sushi is large enough to fill you up.

Just lost a customer over you forgetting to charge 50 cents for an extra white sauce and then refusing to give it to me . You had already ran my card I didn't have cash. I ordered 3 and if you needed to charge me to give me what I ordered you should have done it right the first time. Was 50 really worth losing a customer. Food is average. Go down the street. Food and customer service are much better!

THE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL. THEY GAVE ME TOO MUCH RICE AND LESS MEAT AND VEGETABLES.I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

Slowest place on earth. And apparently the customer does not get whatever they want! I asked if I could have a little less rice (too many carbs) and a little more broccoli. I was told "NO, NO SUBSTITUTIONS".... Won't be going back there.

I love this restaurant I eat here at least once a week weather it is takeout or eat in it is alway yummy sushi and hibachi is amazing just wish when u take out u get the same amout of food as eating in. but either way still great!!!

there food was very good. even though they don't cook in front of you. but its just much cheaper than the Japanese steak. they still give you the soup and the chicken is banging:)

I was very disappointed with the sushi. I ordered two orders of rolls and was dissatisfied with the size the rolls and the amount salmon that were used. It was like a tiny sliver of salmon. And the rolls were very tiny. I ordered the Alaskan rolls and the cucumbers were bitter which threw the whole taste of the roll way off. This was my first and last time going to the restaurant.
