I guess you must be a local to really enjoy a Bill's HotDog. And yes ninety six years in business is a big deal.

Stopped there yesterday returning home from the Outer Banks. I love Hot Dogs and Chili. Their small shriveled up almost tasteless hot dogs were among the worst I've ever had! I hardly know how to describe what they call chili! I love good chili and have been to many chili cook offs, the light brown very spicy bean soup they call chili was TERRIBLE!! It was very thick, very spicy and had absolutely no resemblance of the taste of chili!! Apparently the locals like it, they claim to have been in business since 1928 but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!! The most incredible thing is - they HAVE NO SPOONS to attempt to eat this so-called chili! I drove home 100 miles, put it in the microwave TRIED 3 SPOONFULS AND THREW IT OUT!!

What. Happen to the great hot dog.The hot dogs have been changed.Need to buy better Hot dogs.

Small place take out only. The hot dogs are the old Carolina reds, not my favorite. I much prefer a better grade hot dog. The chili is unique, but may not be everyone's favorite. The buns were soggy, but most who frequent Bills won't care anyway. This is what some people are used to. My one thing is how people say these are the best dogs on earth.......... no way, not even close! I understand the local yokel pride thing, but I lived here all my life and never was impressed with these hot dogs. Your mileage may vary, just like everything else, but these just aren't for me.

Went to Bill's hot stand today and the Hot Dogs were Amazing. I will be going back for sure!!!!
