My husband and I found a cozy restaurant on Main Street - the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic!

We go there on Thursday for their shrimp special. The food is good and the service is great.

Perhaps one visit....bad service. But Down on Main is one of the best restaurants in our town. I wouldn't make a scathing review over ONE visit.

Terrible service. The whole lot of people in Beaufort County must not get out of Beaufort County much because a lot of people said it was good food and it isn't. Natives of Beaufort County need to get out of County every once in awhile. Then they would have a different opinion at this restaurant wants to go to some good restaurants.

We stopped in for lunch on a recent visit. The restaurant was very busy, service was good, and our food was delicious. I recommend the citrus salmon. When we are in town again, we will stop in for another great meal.

Food was ok burger was kinda raw when we asked for well done. They did deduct it from our bill. Service was horrible. Our waitress never once checked up on us, never gave us a refill, and got kinda cranky when we asked for to go cups and ketchup. We had an unsweet and sweet tea and she gave us both sweet tea. Very unfriendly wont be returning any time soon.

We have had decent food in the past and made another visit today. However, the food was some of the worst we have ever had. Neither of us ate much. The taco salad had a chopped up, over cooked hamburger patty as the meat. It tasked old and was awful. The rest of the salad was no better. The Reuben sandwich had some type of meat that looked and tasted like canned corned beef that might be used in a very low quality corned beef hash. It was in small chunks and I there was some unidentifiable stuff mixed with it in between two very greasy slices of bread.
The server was sorry and offered to take the food back. We said no, left her a good tip, and left. We will not be going back.
This resaaurant had many signs of a business about to go under.

Very disappointing service on the patio, no eye contact or even a 'be with you in a minute'. Had to interrupt a wait staff to ask for service. Fair burger and crab sandwich. Homemade chips were best part.
Will not hurry back, as it is a treat to drive an hour to enjoy Washington's water front and their shops, but not have to beg for service.
