I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a satisfying dining experience. The food is delicious and well-portioned, the staff is hardworking and friendly, and the ambiance offers a picturesque view of the bay that adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

I would NOT recommend this place to NO one! The owner and manager were rude and VERY disrespectful. HATEFUL! They were only concerned about getting our money! On top of that, the food was HORRIBLE. It was like eating a plate of lard and the prices were ridiculous!

My friend and I went up to Calabash to find a restaurant that she remembered from her high school years - don't ask how many ago that was! Now I'm sure Dockside has been dressed up several times since then, but tucked back in the corner by the water, with the trees around it (and the MONSTER tree out front), it just blended into it's environment. We were there in April and arrived about 5:30PM for dinner. There was no wait for us, but by the time we'd leisurely enjoyed our dinner and were leaving ..... the crowd in the bar area, and dining room had picked up significantly. Our food was excellent and the service was friendly without 'hovering'. Will definitely make sure my husband takes me back on our next visit!

Very friendly, laid back environment. Good food and a great staff. Can't wait to go back. If you go in the summer or on holiday weekends call before you leave home there is always a wait.
