Not one worker was wearing a mask. I asked if it was required, due to the state mandate, and the worker was EXTREMELY rude and utterly atrocious. I WILL he reporting this business to the State Health Department as well as the Burke County police department. Utterly disappointed.

My girls and I LOVE this coffee shop - the wait staff is friendly, accommodating, and ready to make pretty much anything we order. Locally owned and operated by a family "in the neighborhood." It is a great place to grab a cuppa, a snack or lunch, and hang out, watch people, or just "to go." I highly recommend the Grind! Come visit the next time you are in Morganton.

Ordered quiche, sandwich, salad. Sandwich items had to be re-chosen, they were out of turkey and ham. (12:05 lunchtime) Waited 45 minutes, was advised that bacon quiche (special) was gone, choice (?) of Broccoli. When Food was received, it was very tasty, fresh salad greens/accompaniments, quiche was also tasty, sandwich was also, with microwave bacon.
Menu is not easily visible (small blackboard at register/order area, paper "bookmarks' at same area).
Would be helpful to have lunch menu items on blackboard as easily seen as coffee and smoothie menu if they'd like happier lunch customers. Quicker service and/or more options if items run out. Very nice atmosphere.
