Food is beautifully prepared, ESPECIALLY the fried shrimp! The only thing better (or at least as good as) is the hospitable service -- such friendly, professional people. We never come to the Coast without a visit to see Heather and Deb and company.

OK...this was a huge disappointment. We should have eaten across the street at that Captain's place! This place called the Fish Hook looked so cute, but there was nothing cute about it. The workers were rude, the food was not good(and we were really hungry....usually almost ANYTHING would be good)...and to top it all off, the person who gave us our food had dirty fingernails. I really can't believe how unprofessional the employees of this establishment were.

Absolutely great. Good food, wonderful people and town. Home cookin at its best and don't miss the chocolate pie. Yummy.

The food that I received was excellently prepared with love and care. I chose the daily special, chicken pastry with green peas and cream potatoes as my side with fresh cooked hushpuppies. I was so impressed I went back for lunch the next day with a rib eye sandwich; it was topped with grilled onions and cheese with onion rings on the side. If you are looking for great food for a fair price this is the place at HI. Please try the pineapple cake for you sweet tooth.
