Visited La Fogata with friends for some Mexican food based on good reviews, enjoyed the busy atmosphere, good service, and great food despite having to pay for extra chips and salsa, making it a regular spot for us along with 3 Tequilas and Los Antojitos, with my go-to orders being huevos rancheros and carnitas, appreciating the AAdvantage Dining benefits and the overall comfort and familiarity of our dining experiences there.

Please bare with me as this post will be long. We get there at 7:45pm. We checked in asked how long the wait would be. They said we can sit you now but may take a while to get food and drinks as we are busy. We said ok. Cool were in no hurry that's fine. We sit around 8. We sat for a good 20 or more minutes before anyone came to even say hello. But watched others sit after us and get drinks and chips and salsa right away. Still cool. We knew we would have to wait. Finally they came got drinks and chips and salsa. All is good. We made our order i said very specifically i want chicken and cheese ONLY quesadilla. Food came my order was wrong and they didn't bring my daughter's food. I said this has stuff in it I don't want. Please give back im good. Can you please just get my daughter her food. Like 10 minutes later after everyone else is done eating.
Her food comes. I ask for sour cream to go with her meal. Like 5 to to 10 min later they bring sour cream, and our bill. Mind you I have still have been nice to our waiter but he said my manager will not take your food off that you did not eat. I said I would love to talk to him. He didn't come out so I went up to desk and asked for him. Im not paying for a meal that was cooked wrong and sent away. He comes out im now irritated I have been here for 2 hours. I said I just need you to take my meal off. I didn't eat it and I sent it back. He said no were not taking a loss for your meal. I got upset and said I didn't f-ck-ng eat it im not paying for it. He then started screaming at me. My husband came over cause he saw us arguing and the MANAGER started cussing and screaming at my husband in front of the whole restaurant. I was in total dis belief. All of this would have never happened if he would have just taken the stupid meal off when I asked the waiter to have him do it. I have never in my life been treated this way. Please never ever go to this place.
