Love coming here for a meal - the staff is super friendly and the food is always delicious. The shrimp plate is my favorite, always served in generous portions. The fried shrimp and fish are cooked in clean oil, no greasy aftertaste here. The atmosphere is typical Southern charm, a mix of good and not-so-good, but overall a great spot for takeout.

My name is Thomas Gallimore. I just wanted Skippers to know, I am very disappointed in my meal I got from you tonight. 11-02-22. I ordered fish and shrimp and all you gave me was one piece of fish and a handful of shrimp. I checked my meal before I left Skippers. I wanted to say something then, but I knew it wouldn't do any good to do so, so I decided not to. I will never ever eat at Skippers again. I will go to Sunrise and get my seafood from them from now on. When I order a small plate from Sunrise they give a whole bunch of food for their customers,, just because Sunrise is not selfish with their seafood like Sippers is.

THE FOOD IS GOOD AT SKIPPERS THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THEY ADD GRATUITY ON THE BILL NOW.IT IS ON THE MENU IN FINE PRINT. IF YOUR TICKET THEY BRING TO THE TABLE HAS A WHITE PIECE OF PAPER STAPLED TO IT THEY WILL ADD GRATUITY AT CHECKOUT.WE LEARNED THIS BY LEAVING A TIP ON THE TABLE AND GRATUITY WAS ADDED WHEN WE PAID BUT WE WERE NOT TOLD UNTIL WE CALLED BACK TO QUESTION THE BILL AND NOTHING COULD BE DONE. SO WE ENDED UP TIPPING ABOUT 40.00 FOR 6 ADULTS AND 3 CHILDREN.

This is a family owned restaurant in the Thomasville area. It is a real nice seafood restaurant to eat at, and has great food. The owners are Greek, and they really know how to cook some fish lol!! We eat there often (or when we can). The prices are average for a seafood restaurant, but the food is above average. Nice, clean place to eat. Nice waitstaff too.
