Stopped by Gardner's on the way to a baseball tournament for some takeout and ended up dining in thanks to the warm and friendly staff. The chicken was piping hot, the homemade hot sauce was killer, and the BBQ sauce was the perfect match for our pork sandwiches. The welcoming smiles and genuine hospitality made for an unforgettable experience - a true taste of classic Eastern Carolina BBQ.

The worst bbq I ever had it was below average the coleslaw was runny the fries were cold the fish had no taste the potatoes salad was just as bad
