I enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant featuring grilled scallops with bacon, red potatoes, and a green salad. The scallops cooked with bacon were particularly outstanding. For dessert, the New Orleans style bread pudding was also excellent. The staff was efficient and provided great service, making the experience truly enjoyable.

My daughters, and I and friend had a fabulous meal and I need experience. The food, the service and cocktails were all amazing. The fig appetizer was the most delicious thing we ever tried. Every trip to ocracoke, we always eat there. Thank you for a very lovely evening!!!

We LOVE the Flying Melon! Great food, great cocktails, appetizers, and desert. Service is excellent. Restaurant is beautiful. The best fish on the island! Can't wait til next year!

Visited in 2018, so prior to any of the latest hurricane damage.....Had the best crab cakes I’ve ever eaten anywhere, here. They were served with roasted root veggies (which didn’t sound like something I’d enjoy. I was wrong!) The veggies were amazing and the crab cakes were definitely the BEST I’ve ever eaten. Seriously. I NEED to get back there again. COVID-19 go away!
