The food at this restaurant is truly exceptional, with a focus on brick oven pizza and delicious salads that are consistently well-prepared. The menu may be limited, but it changes regularly and is executed with great care, especially the desserts made by their talented pastry chef. The service provided by the staff is outstanding, offering a personalized and attentive experience that enhances the overall dining atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, perfect for families or a date night. Food was pretty good too.

Went with a group, ordered trout $28. $6 can beer.. anyways my trout was very flat not much substance, someone actually thought it was flounder. It tasted ok, I never got my sides as they were placed for the table. I'm super upset after $100 I had a peice of trout and two peices of broccoli that someone left on the table and a couple can beers. As a local I'm pretty upset I cant reccomend this as an option in the future.

Maybe it's just my perspective, but the prices seem outrageous for what you get. One of the pizzas was almost 18 dollars and tiny.
I am also biased bc I am pescatarian and not only is there meat in everything, but it's not a very flexible menu. I couldn't bring myself to pay for the trout (I saw what someone else got and it was not worth 27 dollars even with the sides) plus the salad is a wedge with bacon and the potatoes have bacon also. My husband joined in with the family style meal and that with an app for me (no alcohol for either of us) cost almost 70 dollars.
If you're used to paying 40-50 dollars per plate for a normal meal it could be fine, but as someone who was raised in an environment where over 15 dollars is becoming expensive, it was not worth it.

My husband and I have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The Fungi pizza is the best. I also thought their salmon was sooo yummy. Great venue!

Special opening menu included three entrees, three family style sides and salad plus yummy bourbon pecan bread pudding with ice cream!
The new back porch is huge and well built, with lots of TVs, a bar and a great big two-sided fireplace. Great renovation and the same friendly, welcoming feel. Trout was excellent! So glad you are open again!

Can't wait for "our" Happ's Place to finally re-open again! Those of us who live in Glenville called Happ's our "go to" place for a great meal with good friends, and often an opportunity to make new friends.
We SO MISS seeing "Randy" our ever caring server, as well as Chef Cathy who prepared her excellent dishes for so many years!!
Looking forward to having Happ's back in our "neighborhood" again soon.

Just look at the place. The ceiling is falling down due to the grease. Complete dust pit.
