The food is among the best that I have ever eaten in my 90 years. I eat there often since I live nearby, and I have not yet found anything to grumble about. Shamrock "does me proud."

I absolutely love the variety offered at the buffet here - it's always a delightful surprise! The affordability of this place makes it even more appealing, and I always leave feeling satisfied and happy. One of my favorite dishes to indulge in here is the pancakes and sausage for breakfast - it's a delicious treat that never disappoints!

Hubby, mother-in-law and myself had early dinner today. We ordered off menu since buffet was not ready. Hubby ordered seafood platter which consisted of fish, oysters, shrimp and deviled crab for 19.99. Mother-in-law ordered deviled crab (3pc) dinner(11.99) with a piece of flounder (5.00 extra for fish). When my mother-in-law's meal arrived the waitress said her meal was considered a combo so only 2 deviled crab came with it and a piece of flounder and costs 19.99 plus the 5.00 for flounder. Let's think about this 2 deviled crab with 1 piece of flounder is now 24.99. Hubby's seafood platter was 19.99. When checking out, I asked why is this costing so much?. No one could explain to me why we were paying so much for that meal. Would have been nice to have seen manager/owner.. I'm very disappointed, won't be going back.

Best food I had in a long time. I wish they could be here in the Hampton Rhoads area of VA. Not even fabulous restaurants here can compete with The Shamrock restaurant!

They have a GREAT Steak no matter what size, and the BEST Peach Cobbler in the County. Owners sometimes will sit at the table with you to fellowship and make sure everything is good. They practically know everyone, Great place for a B-day party or just a night out. Will love everything about it.
