This charming, family-owned restaurant serves some of the best barbecue and fried chicken I've encountered in North Carolina. The food is consistently delicious, especially the fried shrimp and unique hush puppies that resemble onion rings. Although the dining area could use some attention, the friendly service and great flavors make every visit worthwhile.

The fried chicken is so good. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The corn sticks are delicious. The prices are reasonable.

Just went for the first time and got fried oysters, green beans, and cabbage. Best food I've had in a long time. Prices are good and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again.

It is what it is! Slow roasted East Carolina-style Barbeque that's moist and tender. Crusty Fried Chicken that is seasoned well and comes to you hot and crunchy. Fried fish or shrimp and a variety of Country vegetables along with those onion ring shaped hushpuppies that add a nice touch to your meal. Enjoy!
