My husband and I were visiting DQ in front of Pitt Community college. We drove across town because the DQ on 10th Street was closed down for good. We ordered 2 medium blizzards- SMORES and HEATH BAR. We pulled around to the drive thru to pick them up and they were out of two items to make blizzards. We said it was ok, we still wanted the blizzards. We paid FULL price to the attendant and when she gave us the 2 blizzards she apologized stating that they were out of SPOONS. Therefore we left without anything to enjoy our blizzard with.
My husband decided to drive down to Sheetz to beg for 2 spoons. He was given 2 spoons therefore we were allowed to eat our blizzards- thanks to Sheetz.
The time of day was 6:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon.
Please help me understand why we should continue to support the DQ. Very very disappointed.
Especially with a Sams Club and/or a Freds Club just a block away.
We will probably go to the Cookout the next time we would like an ice cream treat!
