Stayed at Earthshine this July and had an absolute blast! The lodge had the most stunning views of the forest and mountains, and the wooden architecture was straight out of a fairytale. The lodge manager, Megan, was so welcoming and showed us around before we settled into our rustic yet cozy room with amazing mountain views. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the overall experience was rejuvenating. Can't wait to go back and explore more of what Earthshine and the area have to offer!

My wife and I just returned from a Labor Day weekend escape to Earthshine Lodge. The lodge bills itself as a launching pad for adventure in this area of western North Carolina, this is certainly true. Fellow guests included families with young children, young couples and senior citizens. This diversity at some venues may leave some with less than a favorable response, but this is not the case at Earthshine. Based on our experience just the opposite occurred. A real sense of community and caring, established by the onsite management team lead by Jessie Johnson and Matt Schneider, created an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Speaking from a senior citizen perspective, we were not necessarily looking for adventure, we wanted some downtime in a beautiful setting. With that in mind Earthshine exceeded our high expectations. From the moment we made the turn onto the Earthshine property we felt our stress levels drop. The polished rustic feel of the lodge, coupled with the outstanding forest and mountains views established a perfect environment to recharge us. Many of the guests took advantage of the onsite activities, and the area's offerings leaving the decks and numerous outdoor sitting areas quiet for relaxation, reading and reflection. Serving breakfast and dinner onsite is such a great concept. While onsite dining fosters a sense of community, suggested seating allowed for perfect dining atmosphere for guests. Not having to 'spruce up' and drive to an establishment to wait in line to get seated is a marvelous benefit of staying at this lodge. The food and service are excellent.

My wife and I recommend staying at Earthshine Lodge without reserve!
