I expected a wait given it is July 5th but to stand at the 'to go orders' sign for 12 mins while 2 servers mulled around waiting on placed orders to be cooked for sitting customers was beyond reason. And to add insult to injury as those sitting customers finished their meals and approached the register I was asked to step aside so she can ring them up(and get her tip no doubt) 4 different times and she she didn't take my to go order. I waited 10 more mins and noticed that I was the only African American in the restaurant sitting or standing. I've never had a issue with that restaurant in the past and I eat there often as I live 1.5 miles away and I also travel extensively and visit Waffle Houses and have never experienced that type of treatment in the past. I'll never visit THAT PARTICULAR Waffle House again. IHOP although busier than Waffle House was VERY PROFESSIONAL and accommodating. Looks like I made a switch for good

Visited the Indian trail location and it was great. I had visited another one in charlotte and order was wrong. Visited the Indian trail location couple weeks ago and was very pleasant so I returned. Robert and the cook were very nice and considerate as to making sure everything was ok. Best waffle house I know of around this area. Keep up the fast great food. â¤
