I find myself indulging in their delicious fresh hamburgers and hamburger steak plates more often than I'd like to admit. Despite a hiccup with my sandwich order tonight, they quickly whipped up a perfect remake, and I couldn't resist diving into their amazing chili hotdogs and heavenly strawberry shortcake with ice cream-talk about comfort food bliss!

Back in the day, when this place was called Tastee Freeze, they had absolutely the best food. The hot dogs, the burgers, and especially the ice cream. OMG, it was the best! I remember there were some older ladies who cooked the food, and let me tell you, it's ashame they can't be there now! I don't know if it was because the place changed owners, management, or employees, but the food is terrible now, nothing like it used to be. The burgers taste like soy burgers, the fries are never cooked fully. They're mostly undercooked and mushy in the middle. The hot dogs are passable. But the ice cream is nothing like the ice cream they used to serve. It taste like ice milk, and believe me, ice cream lovers know the difference. and aside from all that, their prices have gone way up. Improve your food quality or risk losing more customers. This place has been in Goldsboro for years and people loved it because of the quality of the food and ice cream. I can't understand why when a place has something good, they go and mess it up by trying to change it. If this trend keeps on, there will hardly be anywhere left for people to get great food at a reasonable price.
