Delicious Italian food and friendly service make this a great spot to grab a meal. The Strombolis are a must-try, bursting with flavor and satisfaction. If you're passing through this small town, definitely swing by for a tasty meal!

Way overrated by the locals who live nearby. Even their simple so-called Italian dishes are fair at best - a "taste" is exactly the most Italian you can hope for. Salads and garlic bread are their only hope. If you want true Italian, try Kitchen Rosellis in East Bend or DiLisio's in Winston-Salem. Anywhere but here.

Great meal, had to carryout because of Covid-19, everything was just as ordered, right down to extra crispy fries!! Had the opportunity to talk to waitress and owner. He said because of the health risk and closed dining room business was down 50% and the waitress added that he kept everyone on staff, no layoffs, added more delivery options to keep everyone employed!! That's what being a community of staying together is about. I will definitely be ordering again soon to help with the business side and all the food so far is GREAT!!

If you haven't tried this place recently and you love pizza and wings, it's a must! I get the hot wings and pepperoni pizza and both are A+++. One of my family's favorite places to eat. Service is excellent as well - friendly and courteous staff and owner! Highly recommend!

We have been eating here for years, however tonight will be our last visit. I can handle quality over quantity any day. Well here you get neither of them. I ordered pasta fagioli and baked manicotti. The manicotti came out with only 2 any other place you get 3 or 4 depending on the size. Well these were kinda skimpy not to mention not even baked. It came out looking like it was heated in a microwave and the a few teaspoons of shredded cheese tossed on it, not even melted. The soup was more watered down than a glass of iced tea in the sunshine. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is this time my husband ordered a stromboli and actually got it. Last time he ordered a stromboli they have him a calzone.

My boyfriend and I were lured in with the free appetizer promotion we received at the Yadkinville wine festival. It was great, coming from NY it is hard to find, what we consider, good pizza. Luckily I have to pass them on my way to Jonesville each weekend, so Friday night pizza night will be supplied by A Taste of Italy going forward.

This place was terrible the food was so bland and my calamari was so greasy and overlooked. I would not wish this place on my worst enemy

Been going here for years. Food is great, reasonably priced. Some of the wait staff know what I want in advance. It's great! One tip for the restaurant, though. DITCH THE MUSIC PLEASE!!!! Would be much nicer environment if the horrible music that plays over and over and over and over and over and over and over again is tossed and never played again!

I took my wife to Taste Of Italy for a very romantic Valentine's Day Dinner! Great food, reasonable prices, surperb service, everything was perfect! The owner made this valentine's dinner special a big hit for my family. Five Stars!!!

Best food probably anywhere. Been going there on a weekly basis since they opened. Anyone that has something negative to say has a personal agenda.

To the post about the owner cussing the cooks and waitress out, I find that hard to believe considering the owner is a very pleasant person. This resturant is always running well and the food is excellent. I think your ears must have heard wrong. The health inspection has been a 101 for the last 7 inspections, and still is very well.

to the post below, FYI that wasn't the owner, he was in Sicily taking care of his sick mother. (which also may have been why the place wasn't running as smoothly)
They have the best wings! The filet w/ Marsala sauce is excellent! Pizza, Stromboli & Italian hero: all great. Tuscan Salad is a must try! Don't see anything on the menu that suits your mood? Ask to speak to "Ralph" and he'll create something special for you himself. I absolutely love the food and staff here; I've started going at least once a week!
06/19/2009 - Service was horrible
My First trip toTaste of Italy was horrible.. We waited almost 45 misn for our food and the place wasn't even busy, the owner was very nice either.

Excellent pizza, wonderful entrees, fantastic service, and great value. By far, the BEST Italian restaurant in the triad and Yadkinville area and definitely the most reasonable. Atmosphere is lacking but the staff and the owner are very gracious, personable, and attentive. It's certainly worth the trip!
04/14/2009 - Very Dissapointed
My first visit there and all I heard was the Owner Cussing out the Cooks and Cussing one of the Waitress, I thought that was horrible.. I would never go back there again

They have the best stromboli in the area. Their pizza is fair but overall a decent place to eat
