2/21/14 The service starting with the reservations were well below average for an Italian restaurant with this family. Our tattooed waiter - manager recommended a basic dish of pasta and meatballs which he said was the "best he has ever had" , the result was worse than franco american spaghetti out of a can.. meat balls were rubber balls and pasta was a joke. My date had mussels in white wine sauce that had so much hot spices, you couldn't taste the delicacy of the shellfish.. The bread for table was stale and dessert was sugary enough to satisfy any diabetic urge. Its a shame that they allow this type of service and food in light of the other restaurants under this umbrella which are good. I suppose since it is in the middle of nowhere they had a captive and low expectation audience…. the place was full which tells me how excepting of mediocrity South Charlotte has become.. Chef Ramsey would have a field day here!
