French Toast bagel was enjoyable, along with the ham and cheese on an Asiago bagel and the SEC on an everything bagel. The breakfast was tasty, and I am looking forward to returning. The service was friendly, and the fresh bagels were a highlight of the meal.

We stopped in just to get a little info. Greeted with smiles and great service! Best Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream I have every tasted! Not to mention they are open all year!! Can't wait to return and try out the bagels!

When my boyfriend and I walked in, a larger lady was in front of us. The college-looking employee was very standoffish toward her, even though she was very friendly and talkative. She was trying to be funny and the employee was just rude and needs to learn how to play along in order to be nice to customers. When I walked up, the employee asked what "THE DUB" was (my UNCW t-shirt) and asked where I went to high school, what grade I was in, why I was at the beach, and even made a point to tell me he was thinking about ECU...He was very friendly to me and told me to take my time and offered me samples. However, when my boyfriend walked up right behind me, he didn't even ask what he wanted--simply looked at him and waited for an answer. Then was very quiet and unfriendly. We still tipped him far too much. When we walked out side to sit at the picnic tables, three cockroaches (or a waterbug; either way, very big disgusting bugs) dispersed under the table. After refusing to sit down there, I walked back to the car only to see two more bugs in the grass on the way. Very unpleasant experience. Needs a major update and better lighting. You wouldn't even know they were open if you just drove by. Their fudge was also sitting out on the counter in big blocks, uncovered completely. Sadly, the ice cream was good but I don't think I'll be going back here!
