We bring our family here once a week and all the food we have gotten is downright amazing weather it has been sushi, roasted duck, chicken, shrimp-- on all menus.. is absolutely delicious and the staff and chef always make sure you are satisfied. I cannot say enough about this amazing place with great prices we are so lucky to have them in our neighborhood!

SushiX was great when it had the original owner. Yesterday, our appetizer was cold. An unidentified person came out of the kitchen and informed me that she had sampled my dish for herself and that the food was indeed hot. ??? The calamari looked liked small onion rings and had not taste. The owner came and informed us with her interpreter that we could go to the new Sushi X1 in Monkey Junction. They never prepaired our ontree. We wasted an hour there with bad food and rudeness. It is the worst and rudess resturaunt experience we have ever had.

I have given this place multiple chances and it seems like each time it gets worse and worse. The food does not have NEAR the same quality as when they first opened, the place is not clean, and the manager NEVER shows up to my table even when asked for. The other night my server placed a $4 up-charge on my ticket without ever explaining what the charge was for. Then when the manager FINALLY decided to make an appearance, she said that the price had not been adjusted in the computer, so she took it upon herself to just insert the additional $4 up-charge without communicating anything to me or my husband. CRAZINESS!! I will not be back to this place ever again, would rather support other local Hampstead hibachi joints and pay a lot less money for much higher quality food!
