We went first time they sadly were short staffed and our dinner for 2 came out in slow motion very good we ended up taking home and had it hot food was good portions but a lite to much watered down cherry sauce.

I recently revisited (July 2023) and was pleased to see that portion sizes were back to normal. When ordering take-out, I noticed that everything was packaged very well, and the food was still delicious and cooked perfectly. Hi there, on my first visit here I had heard mixed reviews, but I ordered combo 3 (rice, chop suey, chicken balls, and egg roll) and found everything to be very tasty with a good price/portion ratio. I will definitely be returning. Having been to House of Cheng a few times, I can say that the food and service are good, although the space is a bit small. Despite its size, the restaurant is nicely decorated with a good atmosphere, and the wait time for food falls somewhere in between quick and slow. Overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5. I absolutely love this restaurant for their meal options that offer everything you could want at a great price. The fried wontons with sauce are fantastic, and I highly recommend the sweet and sour shrimp with beef and broccoli, as well as the delicious chow mein.

Picked an Oder of diner for 4 Sunday evening.Sprouts were like mush, way over cooked and the egg rolls were cold inside and tasted like uncooked dough. Rice was hard and dry. Not the best food I have ever had.

Really good food, and it is served with friendly faces. Have been eating here for 30 years, since moving to valley, and the food is as good now as then.

Literally the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. The egg rolls are incredible and different from the generic ones you get elsewhere. The sweet and sour chicken sauce, again, different but incredible. Food is always hot and the service is perfect. If I could give 6/5 stars, I would.

Absolutely worst food ever. What was in those egg rolls? No sprouts for sure. Some gooey brown crap. Chow mein had no noodles. All of it was soggy junk. Went hungry tonight. Paid a lot of money for a family dinner.
