The Big Scoop offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for enjoying delicious home-cooked meals. While it can get noisy during busy times, the friendly service and tasty food make it a great choice for gatherings with friends or family.

Been there a few time in the past year, the food always been very good, love the home fries. Had the fish ...lovely, the burger platter really nice. Never had an issue with the service. The price are very reasonable and portions are fine. I recommend this place.

This is not a friendly atmosphere, after being seated was completely forgotten about, had waitress multiple times say they'd be with us but never to return. When asked if we was going to be waited on for an order to be placed even a drink order to be taken was told the employee that seated us forgot to put our table down for an order to be taken, we sat for alittle better then 45 minutes and still not even a drink order taken while other customers coming in after us was being now served their food, was asked to leave when I explained to another waitress that this was very bad service.. waitress are running all over cleaning tables as people are still eating. This is a poorly run establishment with terribly not so friendly staff and would never recommend anyone I know to visit here nor would I ever visit this place again. Poorly run business with poor customer skills, take what a customer is telling you and learn and grow from it to be a better run business not ask your customers to leave when there is alittle bit of criticism given would be my advice for this business expecially when you have to other takeout places right down the street

Not sure why but since the take-out only started the fries have been awful and the fish not worth eating :(

My husband and I always have great service here - yes when they are busy you have to wait a bit - same goes with any restaurant. And the staff have always been very courteous and good to deal with. You do a great job!

I must say I question some of the reviews I have seen!!! I have been to the Big Scoop on many occasions, and have always found the staff cherry and very pleasant. As for the food, I have on many occasions taken friends there because the food is very good and plentiful. As for waiting, on RARE occasions, it may be busy, but have never waited more than 30 min. or so. If you want fast food, go to MacDonald's !!!!!!

Slow service -sometimes over 1 hour before you are served... food is good but small portions and seems like it was waiting for some time before it was served. Acoustics are poor as it is very noisy when it is busy...especially for dinner and on Sundays.

Can you say slow..........Don't go if you are hungry..portions are small & you can expect to spend at least an hour waiting for your food.
