You won't find a better option than Ko's for delicious Canadian Chinese food and exceptional service. A long-standing institution in our community, Ko's has been satisfying customers for decades with their generous portion sizes and welcoming atmosphere. I truly appreciate their commitment to inclusivity by keeping their dining room open for all customers, setting a positive example for other restaurants in town.

I am a local and I just wanted to say buyer beware. The bottom line is it is hit or miss with this place, obviously. When it is good it always seems to impress some people. But I would have to say compared with other places in Hfx. it is just sub-par. Just judge by their egg rolls, and you have the whole picture pretty much right there. I make far better chinese food by myself at home. It is pretty easy to make. and tastes authentic.

Black floaty in my water, The chicken balls i pretty near needed a steak knife to cut threw sweet an sour was neither sweet nor sour an scrub hard to get sauce off hands, rice tasted like brown minute made rice, had to mix chow mein with rice to get flavor. Never had good experiences there.

Was the worst Chinese food ever. The rice had a funny taste. Chicken ding had maybe two little pieces of chicken in it. Only got a quarter way through the meal and I couldn't eat anymore. Threw out 30 dollars worth of food. I have eaten at many places but this was the worst and last time I will ever eat food from KOs.

Tried it for the first time..The beef fried rice (If you want to call it that) was the worst I've ever eaten. The rice was dry and tasteless. There were these little thin brown pieces of disgusting meat that tasted like cardboard (surely that wasn't beef?) absolutely flavourless 🙄
The chicken balls were a good size but too much mushy batter. And don't get the sauce on your fingers...it stains and takes many washes to get it off.
Needless to say, I won't be going back. I had to add everything I could to the rice just to sweeten it up. And they didn't put any plum sauce in the bag (it was carry out). Not a great experience. I hope they read these reviews 😢

Never ever place a take out order! The girls
That work there could use a lesson in customer service. The lady that took my order over the phone was rude. Usually I go in and have no issues but tonight it was horrible service.

Was there new years day at 4:00 pm for buffet, group of 11, what a shame all of that effort to do a big variety of food and not have the proper setup to have the food hot.Anyone ever eat ice cold Chinese______Not Good, should have left, no excuse, will never go back.

The worst tasting Chinese food I have ever tasted. I could say lots of negative stuff. However, the service was great,would I go back ? BIG NOPE. If this is the best tasting in Bridgewater then folks I would hate to taste the others! Water was good , and a pleasant waitress. As a party of 8 from out of town we all agree we were very disappointed.

I've been dining at Ko's for 20 years, and I've always been served delicious Chinese, generous portions, at reasonable prices. The food is probably the second best, maybe even close to the best I've ever had, and I've eaten at A LOT of Chinese restaurants. Definitely worth trying, and I promise you'll be back for more!
