The service at Libretto's is immaculate and their pizza is the best I've had in the city. The mushroom pizza is a standout, featuring a crunchy crust and unique flavor that keeps me coming back for more.

My family has been eating at Libretto's since they opened. The place is great. It is family owned and the family treats you like your a part of it. The foods is great. Fresh tomato sauce, a delish vodka sauce, great salads. They have a chopped salad that is outstanding. I was suprised to find a pizzeria that prepares truly delcious meals as well. They are great with children too.

My wife and I had eaten pizza from Libretto's several times and were always happy, so we tried dining there. The result was my worst dining experieince in my 8 years in NYC.
It was a quiet evening and when we sat down, we were the only ones there. My wife ordered a chicken entree and I tried the chicken parm hero. We never got any bread with the meal even though my wife ordered an entree. After waiting an extremely long time for our meal to be served, we received out diner. My wife's dinmer was ok. My chicken parm hero was served on a small roll (6 inches at most) and there was only a small piece of chicken on it. When I bit into, I tasted only bread. When I complained to our waitress she said "The other half of the hero looks more hearty" and "When we give complaints to the cooks, they get upset at us." Great answers!! Even though the place wasn't busy at all and my wife was STILL eating, the waitress gives us our check without me asking for it. They never refilled our water even though the place was slow.
The food was bad, the service was even worse. I worked for a waiter for over 10 years and have ALWAYS given at least 15% even for bad service,but this time I couldn't even leave a dollar. If you want pizza go to Libretto's, if you want anything else go somewhere else.
