I've been going to Madras Mahal for over 10 years, it used to be the best in the area. But enough, I'm never going again. The last few times, the service has been bad. Also the menu is the same but the recipes have changed, the food is not as good. Last night there were multiple waiters taking orders, waiting 20 minutes for appetizers, with just one persons showing up. I asked the surly guy on the register for help. He walked towards the kitchen but then turned around before he got there and just went back to the register, ignoring us on his way back. Then one of the cooks in a filthy apron bought out the food in dribs and drabs. The waiters were too busy talking amongst themselves to pay any attention to the customers. People on other tables were equally bemused by the lack of any courtesy towards them. As we left our polite 'thank yous' were ignored, leaving a final bad impression. Has this place changed ownership? That's the only conclusion I can come to, no one there cares anymore.

I love this place for thier lemon rice , dosas, mango lassi. Food is best, service is great, place is pure & refreshing just like thier food. Must visit.

Simply Best ..
Madras Mahal Never Dissappoints me is always best in thier serive and mouth watering DOSAS.
I am big fan of Dosa since i am originally from south so havin g authentic south Indian food regularly is must so 3 years back i discovered Madras mahal and since then i was thier regular.
Must Try Thier Royal THali. & mysore thali is best trust me is coming from South Indian

Authentic Indian restaurant (where actual Indian people eat), not a Kosher restaurant with Indian influences. Food is great every time, service depends on how busy they are. Portions are relatively big.

A very pleasant restaurant. The service was attentive and the food very good. Since we were relatively new to Indian food we asked for recommendations and were pleased with the result. There are dairy and tofu-based items on the menu.
