The hummus and Israeli salad dishes at this place are absolutely delicious, reminding me of the flavors from back home. The wait staff, especially Oner, was outstanding, and the portions were perfect for sharing - we had a great time!

now I’ll have to agree with those who said that Talia’s is a great place in many aspects to eat and schmooze. I was there on Saturday and they won me with that live music they had and the abundant plate I had in front me. they sure know how to make those steaks. I have to ask for the name of that sauce next time I’m there!

Love the chicken marsala. For $25 you get an appetizer, soup, salad and main course -- quite a feast, all in all. Such a great value is hard to find on the Upper West Side, and dining here is always a very welcoming experience. One favorite perk of mine is that the weekend brunch includes both Middle Eastern specialties and a really glorious range of New York-style waffles, pancakes, latkes, steak and eggs. I can never choose between them all. That and the really inviting atmosphere makes this a great place to bring friends and family.

I just had the best New Years dinner at Talia’s! A friend of mine picked Talia’s for our pre-party meeting place, and I had one of the best meals of my life. The restaurant was so packed, yet amazingly the service was still top notch, every seat in the house was full yet our waitress could not have been more attentive. Our drinks were ordered and delivered (and consumed! ) immediately, and every food course followed. The Thai beef salad was to die for. The portions were large and everything was prepared perfectly. Everyone in my party was extremely impressed and satisfied, had we not had late night plans we probably would have stayed all night. I will defiantly be returning to Talia’s.

I went to Talia’s with my girlfriend for Valentine’s day. It was really great! We got great drinks and amazing steak at a very affordable price! The atmosphere is really nice and the staff really pleasant. Since it also happened to be my girlfriend’s birthday we also got a birthday chocolate soufflé with a candle. It was really delicious and the whole staff gathered to sing happy birthday. Overall a really superb experience.

I was recently on a visit to New York and was looking for a place to dine out with my boyfriend in the city. Being from France we have been to some of the most exquisite places in Europe. We wanted something delicious but also with intimate ambience – not too crazy, not crowded. We tried a few places downtown and on our last night decided to go and try a restaurant on the upper side – we picked Talia’s. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with each and every aspect of the place and especially the food. The steak is so juicy, tender…just so savory. Service was great too. We expected to have to pay an astronomical sum for our meal but it turned out that the place was pretty affordable.

The food, service, value and atmosphere are perfect. Try the Thai beef salad - great. Our server was very polite and professional. The space is very romantic and cozy. We will go back to Talia's soon.

The service was terrible. They served warm water and I had to ask twice for ice for it. There were no plates on table for bread until we asked for them. Bison was on the menu and their web site but they did not have any. The food was quite good despite the terrible service.
