Don't be afraid, this place does vegetarian food so well, it'll fooled the biggest carnivore you know. A great vibe and great food, that dispels the old myths of healthy vegetarian food as something that wasn’t so appetizing. They have a beautiful site that captures the feel of the restaurants to the t, (check it out zenpalate.com). I wasn’t a big fan of vegetarian cuisine before I went here, but Zen Palate to convert me. This place is definitely worth checking out, at any one of their locations. The prices are also great too, can’t wait to go back

Zen Palate is by far the best vegetarian dining in NYC. I've eaten there many times and I'm never disappointed. The food is filling, delicious (even for meat-eaters) and inexpensive... what's better than that?

I would recommend the Union Square location for the ambience, but they have 4 other locations and the food is excellent at all of them.

I don't think there is a better vegetarian restaurant in the city. This is a place for everybody, not just vegetarians. The food is so delicious and most of the regular customers are not vegetarian... they come because the food is simply delicious and well-priced. I like to eat downstairs because the food comes quick and is fantastic, but there is also an upstairs that has a more upscale (and more expensive) menu. The upstairs is the kind of place you would want to take a date or to impress a client.
