It's one of those places you never knew was there, but fall in love with it as soon as you walk in the door.
I've known a few Aussies in my life, and always envied their attitudes. So laid back and truly caring about people.
You get that feeling at 'The Cow' (all the staff calls it that), where everything just feels like a local place you've been coming to forever. Even if it's your first night. The food is fantastic (especially for the Lower East Side where everything seems to be half done), but not pretentiously. The drinks are original and tasty. It's fun without being immature, and warm without being stuffy. It's a great place to just hang, or have some food and drinks with ten or twenty of your mates.
I just can't say enough about it.
It's one of my new 'favorite finds' place.
