Great Japanese rice bowls that won't break a bank! They give you a lot of food! I just hope they can expand their menu soon because I have tried everything on the menu already! (it's actually not too hard to do). My top picks are definitely baked Katsudon (pork), wagyu beef sukiyaki, and the mixed tempura (get more shrimps and fewer veggies). My favorite small plates are jidori karage and braised pork belly. The meats are very tender; pork belly will literally melt in your mouth if you eat it hot. Super friendly staff, Henry literally called me by name the second time I ordered here; that speaks a lot. Besides the limited menu items, they are kind of understaffed in the front, especially during the weekends (It's not so fun waiting forty minutes in line for a katsudon). You can call ahead if you don't want to wait in line. On another note, they give out way too much rice for one rice bowl order. I literally have containers of rice just sitting in my fridge after I ordered here a couple of times. They can also try to cut down plastic packaging, way too much packaging!! Maybe I'll bring back my bowls next time.
