I tried the fried pork sandwich while my friend opted for the grilled cheese. I also ordered some fried pickles, while she went for the onion rings. The chili was her choice, and I couldn't resist a refreshing pineapple milkshake to go with my meal. We debated using the drive-thru but decided to dine inside, where we found a clean environment, friendly staff, excellent service, and delicious food. While I prefer grilled cheese with a variety of cheeses, the perfectly grilled sandwich with American cheese was a minor downside. Overall, I would definitely recommend this local gem over a big chain restaurant for its great food, friendly service, and cool retro decor.
