05/14/2023 - Sad Mother’s Day
I reserved a table for my mom for Mother's Day and requested to be seated by an outlet due to mom being on oxygen. The day of Mother's Day, I called to confirm proper seating and the male manager conveyed he did not have a table with an outlet due to them making those table only available for larger groups. Furthermore, if we wanted to still come we would have to bring an extension cord for 10-15 feet from the table he was going to provide us and to make sure accessibility was not an issue for other customers.
I thought long and hard and decided to not put my mom through the troubles or embarrassment of eating at this venue and also trying to find an extension cord at the last minute. I phone CH to decline our reservation and explain my dissatisfaction in their service only to speak to the same male manager and him not to provide ANY solution base service. I furthermore shared, if my mom still desires to eat at CH then I would be in to obtain carry out. The manager did not provide an apology or anything. We as a community have to remember it is important to care for our greater aged people and not allow their disabilities to keep them from enjoying simple thing like dinner on Mother's Day because the restaurant could not accommodate a person with a disability. Very sad day for my mom because her first time out to eat was declined by Cooper Hawk Centerville, OH on Mother'Day.
