Food was overpriced and tasted like it came from a freezer box and reheated.

review_stars 11/25/2024 - MenuPix User
Food awful

review_stars 11/11/2024 - Jan Gardner
Visitor…poor quality of food and trinkets…thumbs down.

Coffee was burnt

We eat at Brick Rhod Bistro frequently.
Excellent salads and sandwiches! Great fish tacos! Love the antique dishes that the food is served on. We also enjoy the unique atmosphere!

Terrible says it all.

review_stars 09/13/2024 - Jan Garner
I usually don’t write reviews but I had a horrendous experience at this place. Food was unpalatable, staff unfriendly, and let’s just sa this place needs a deep clean. Horrible!

review_stars 06/10/2024 - Jim Thomas
I hear this place has doggy bags...I declined as I did not want any reminders of this horrible food, terrible customer service and all around bad experience.

Visiting the area for a class reunion and stopped in here. The dirty tables out front of the building and dirty entry way should have caused me to keep walking. Wish I had.

Skip this place.

always good

review_stars 05/07/2024 - MenuPix User
Amazing small-town place! Staff is always friendly and helpful, clean and inviting atmosphere, and even a little puzzle corner for children! I don't understand why previous reviews are so negative because I have never had a bad experience here! Keep doing what you're doing BR Staff!!

review_stars 05/02/2024 - Tom
WORST meal ever. Music too loud. Staff curt. Prices too high. They must have so few customers they have to charge an arm and a leg.

review_stars 04/15/2024 - Irene
Terrible service and the food was below average and over priced. Skip this place.

review_stars 03/14/2024 - Jan
First impression - tacky; the buildings front doors were wide open. On asking why, the girl at front counter was rude and said, "because it's hot in here." In looking around the tables were not clean and trash was on the floor. I turned around and left.

It's a small town but you don't have to act like you were raised in a barn or expect customers to eat or shop in a barn. Avoid this place.

review_stars 03/05/2024 - Bailey
The things that these girls wear is horrible. I was in on Monday March 4. The girl at the front needed to not wear booty shorts and a tank top. If she didn't have on a jacket I would have thought she was at the gym. Get some decent clothes on. This is a small town"Christian"? place. Dress like it! I've seen some of the girls wear yoga pants and believe me, it's not pretty. I don't want to see " all that"! It's not a bar. It's an amazing place, but we won't be back! Food is sub par.

review_stars 02/20/2024 - Joan
Went here for lunch with a friend. The food choices are limited. The seating area was dirty. Will not return.

review_stars 02/10/2024 - Joe and Tammy
Chocolate walk was a bust. This is a small run down town with very limited shops. Waynesville Ohio or Brown County Indiana so much bigger and nicer. Staff were unfriendly here; suggest you skip this place.

review_stars 02/01/2024 - Kim
The food choices are odd and the drinks were awful.

review_stars 02/01/2024 - Brooke
First time visitor. Customer service and friendliness lacking; food and drink choices overpriced and “meh”.

We will drive to Dayton and check out all the local food and coffee shops next time we want to try a new spot. Recommend you skip this place

review_stars 01/08/2024 - Jim
Coffee was bitter and thick as sludge.

review_stars 12/10/2023 - MenuPix User
I was there with some Church friends last week. We go there quite a lot and it's usually a positive experience. But this day, it was like the whole place had changed. The tall girl up front making drinks was not pleasant. She never really is friendly, but that day was worse. Then there was horrible music that was playing . It's usually really nice music, but this day it felt like we were in a bar, definitely not a Christian place. Last, but not least , there was a woman with kids that just let her child scream like there was no one else around. She didn't even try to stop it. Not sure what's going on there, but it's just not the same.

review_stars 11/29/2023 - Jan Ireland
Rude rude and rude. Horrible food and service.

review_stars 11/18/2023 - Adam Geigsby
If you are considering trying this place please save your money and go somewhere else.

The food is all frozen and reheated. I was told they are not approved or licensed for cooking.

I can make a cold or hot sandwich and open a bag of chips for a fraction of the cost you will pay here. No antiques and no smile by staff. All around awful.

review_stars 11/15/2023 - Jeanine
This place is a joke!! Rude, horrible lack of customer service. Save your money and time and go to Brookville for better service, enter food and much better atmosphere!

review_stars 10/31/2023 - Alana
Horrible customer service. Food way overpriced and not good. I wish I’d read the reviews of this place before going. Never again.

review_stars 10/07/2023 - Glenda Gibbs
Over priced items; no antiques. Can get many of the things on Amazon at half the price. Food was frozen foods reheated I found out. Awedyl but the kicker was the hefty price for it! Really? Going to Subway down the street.

review_stars 09/23/2023 - Jim Davis
Very overpriced for such a small town. Plain coffee was terrible, Luke warm and watered down. Will stop at Marathon down the street from now on.

review_stars 09/19/2023 - Jamie Allen
Staff is unfriendly. Food is overpriced and under good. Family and friends must be writing the anonymous high reviews. Avoid this place.

review_stars 09/13/2023 - MenuPix User
What a delightful place! We will be back soon!!

review_stars 08/31/2023 - MenuPix User
I’m shocked with the negative comments. The place was so cool and the food was amazingly delicious and staff was super kind and helpful. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Please do not let the low ratings and comments keep you from giving them a try to see for yourself!!

review_stars 08/30/2023 - Mark
After trying this place, I’d rather eat sushi from a vending machine. Terrible!

review_stars 08/30/2023 - Tom Baker
Food is over priced and under good.

review_stars 08/29/2023 - MenuPix User
Cute and cozy little place. Food and service was great!

review_stars 08/26/2023 - Carly Worsham
I don’t mind spending a lot of money in Vegas for a great meal! The food here was not that. Not surprised the place was empty. Skip this place.

review_stars 08/26/2023 - Mr and Mrs McKee
What a lovely spot recommended to us! We will be thanking our friends soon. The menu has different specialties, all sounded so delicious! What we had lived up to our expectations and recommendations. We will be coming back to try them all! Lovely antiques! What a quaint spot to have a ladies group or to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in this place. God is present. Thank you, staff for such a wonderful experience. A hidden little gem to Lewisburg.

review_stars 08/25/2023 - Zach Benson
First time; last time. Service horrible; slow, no smile and got my order wrong. Food was mediocre and expensive. I wish I would have gone to Wingers down the street.

review_stars 08/23/2023 - MenuPix User
This place is amazing!! Came here today with my friend and I had nothing but amazing service and amazing food! There are so many food/drink options here and for this small town, it is just what Lewisburg needed! Highly highly highly recommend coming here!

review_stars 08/22/2023 - LaShay
The best thing to come to this town!
Amazing people
amazing environment
Wouldn’t want to spend my money anywhere else.

review_stars 08/22/2023 - MenuPix User
My best friend took me here and I will not be going anywhere else! Amazing

review_stars 08/22/2023 - Kenny and Marsha
Small sandwich, regular potato chips (no other choices) and a pickle. Are you kidding me? No fries, nothing hot or cooked here. And for two people with a drink..$30.00! Will never be back.

review_stars 08/21/2023 - Donna of Eaton
Disappointed. No hot, cooked food and way too expensive. Brookville has so many good places to eat, I should have gone there. I will from now on.

review_stars 08/19/2023 - Tami
Wonderfully warm and welcoming experience each and every time I stop here. I enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. Unique menu options. A welcome change from fast food or pizza choices. The staff is always kind. A nice place to sit and visit with a friend or relax while reading a book or listening to the talented musicians. Lots of unique things to look at….some things bring back loving memories of family members antiques. Keep up the spectacular work you’re doing to bring more positive exciting things to Lewisburg. A thriving business helps other businesses in smaller towns. It’s amazing to see people keeping the old buildings character alive. Thanks for what you are doing and continue to do. May God continue to shine through your business!!

review_stars 08/18/2023 - Misty Abner
There was a bug in my salad. Does the health department inspect this place? GROSS!

review_stars 08/16/2023 - Jackie
Tried the Lotus energy drink and it was AWFUL.

review_stars 08/16/2023 - John
Terrible. Don’t waste your time. Run of the mill/junque items — not antiques. Overpriced.

review_stars 08/11/2023 - Jim
Coffee today tasted burnt. Asked for a new one from different batch. Girl at counter seemed put out. Cheaper coffee price at Marathon down the street and going there from now on.

review_stars 08/11/2023 - Mandy
Brick Rhod Bistro never ever disappoints. From the amazing atmosphere to the great service and of course delicious coffee and food. It’s a great place to sit and visit or even get a little work done. The food is always top notch and the menu has unique but delicious items on it, the coffee is way better than you will get anywhere else and the baristas are always happy to help. Every little detail has been covered here. You can stroll through a great assortment of antique vendors while you are there too, you never know what treasures you may find! Make sure you plan to stop here, you won’t regret it.

review_stars 08/09/2023 - Billy
There's a reason I only go to Sarah's Pizza for food in Lewisburg, they are consistent in the quality of their food and service. Tried this Bistro and just let me say, I would rate less than one star. The food tastes all premade from a bag or box. The older woman, red haired employee should not interact with customers.

review_stars 08/08/2023 - Lori
Brick Rhod continues to be a true destination for Lewisburg. The coffees are amazing, they are always looking for new ways to serve people well, and the food is not your normal coffee shop fare! I’m thankful to have them in my hometown, and based on the number of repeat customers I see when I go in, I’m not alone! Keep doing great things!

review_stars 08/08/2023 - Kim
Living in a small town, you have limited places to eat close. This place is a 5+ in my opinion. Everyone there is super nice and the food is a nice change of pace from the normal fare around. I highly recommend the coffees, food and also the attached antique mall. The fish tacos on the first Friday are an excellent choice! Love this place!!!

review_stars 08/05/2023 - Robin at Ace
I ordered the Southwest Turkey. It was outstanding. I would definitely recommend.
I called the order in and it was ready for pick up in 10 minutes.

review_stars 08/05/2023 - Mark
Went to Mic Night….horrible! No fish so I asked for refund of my money. That was a goat rope! Employee calls the owner to see about refunding my money?? what??? Small place, limited menu, way small servings and wayyyy over priced. Skip it and go to somewhere else. NOT a gem of Lewisburg.

review_stars 08/02/2023 - Bill
Stopped in for a regular coffee. Initial impression walking up to entry: trash/litter visible, patio tables dirty, entryway mat and area dirty—not a good look. No smile from girl at the counter once she finally acknowledged me standing at counter. Coffee was good but over priced-McDonald’s coffee better and cheaper and they have a drive thru. I heard about this place from a coworker - not impressed. Will not go again.

review_stars 07/22/2023 - Belinda
The woman who owns this place is rude, unfriendly and has no social skills. At first I thought it was the red hair but no it’s just her (Angie); her husband is very nice (Brian). Food is very overpriced; GFS supplies. When you have a sign that is religious based as well as your email references to proverbs; you are held to a higher standard. You might actually want to go to church. Customer beware.

review_stars 03/01/2023 - Judy
A friend and I ate lunch at the Bistro today - our first time there. We both had the Sweet Chili Pulled Pork sandwiches and ice tea. It was a delicious lunch, in a lovely setting! The staff was friendly and welcoming - such a nice afternoon!

review_stars 12/15/2022 - Marge
Went for the first time with a friend. Food and service were awesome! Also, the antique store is great fun. I'm 74 and the antique Christmas ornaments and decorations from my childhood were a delight to see. For lunch we had warm and soft croissants with turkey, cranberry sauce, bacon, lettuce, and cream cheese. It was a yummy combination! The whole place is very cozy and comfy for lunch and the antiques we got to sit on and admire were such a treat. I can't say enough about the friendliness and fun we had. If you get a chance, just go there!

review_stars 10/26/2021 - Nancy
Love the food, the atmosphere and pleasant service. A great spot to take out-of-town friends.

review_stars 09/04/2021 - MenuPix User
The salad was delicious as was the peanut butter pie. Great atmosphere!
