Normally the food is very good, however today not so much.
Toast was buttered with salty butter. I could not eat it. And $4.00 for extra gravy. Wow. Not happy.

The food at the restaurant is consistently delicious, and the service is always attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is clean, well-lit, and welcoming, making it a favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. I've heard great things about their fish dinner, especially during Lent season, so I'm looking forward to trying it out next time.

Wonderful food just like my Grandma made !! Huge selection, have never had a bad meal and it is one of our favorite go to places !!!!! Friendly attentive staff just a nice hometown place to relax and enjoy a meal.

the one place to go if want a meal as good as Mom or Grandma would serve. the waitress's are kind and courteous and johny on the spot, an atmosphere of being at the family table.

Great food, however the bill was lower on the ticket than it should have been. The waitress wrote the weekday price which was $1 more. The owner/manager at the register was more than happy to correct their error and charge me more than my ticket. RUDE!

The price are totally different then want is online. Paid $10.84 for sandwich and onion rings. Ask when you order what price they are charging today. Last time ordering there.

It really wasn't worth 1 star even. I ordered the Broccoli, Chicken and Pasta meal. It came out in the smallest dish -- I've seen larger saucers. It was covered with cheddar cheese. I found a tiny, micro piece of broccoli, one cube of chicken. It tasted like it had been microwaved because some of the pasta was still cold. None of it was hot. It was more like a poor imitation of macaroni and cheese than Broccoli, Chicken and Pasta. Definitely not worth the $9.95 that they charged. I remember when this was our go to place when we wanted a good meal at a reasonable price. The lady at the register never asked how our meals were or anything. I never saw a friendly waitress or any smiles from any of the staff the whole time we were there.

I HATE your biscuits. They're gross. They should use canned biscuits. They'd be better. They're super heavy and dry out in 2 minutes to where you could use them as rocks. Also they are are a little stingy with second helping of chicken on Sundays.

I cannot believe that it costs 10.00 for a sandwich and onion rings, I ordered biscuit and gravy and I could have changed my tire, the biscuit was so dry....the service was horrible, wish I have the old Carriage Inn back.

Ordered food that was drier than cardboard. My parents were paying, when the waitress asked how it was they said 'fine' - after she left they said they'd never get it again.
They asked I pay as they they have trouble getting about. Lady behind counter was the rudest staff I've ever met. When I told her my parent's don't complain, she grilled me with numerous questions, upsetting me. I finally said YOU asked ME or I'd never have commented. We'll not go back. (Snowing that night, parents handicapped - no snow removal or salt put down).

The owner was very rude when I had a problem with something I had ordered. The fish wasraw on the inside so I sent it back. When they brought it back it was still not done. No replacement was offered. I had to argue to get it taken off the bill. So my husband ate while I sat. Will never return.

Our family use to drive about twenty to thirty minutes, several times a month just to eat here. We visited the restaurant tonight and it will be our last visit. When we went to leave at the check out the lady at the counter was rude and very disrespectful. I ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner that had two sides and salad bar. I took three of the pieces of chicken home. She stated that this was the same as getting two meals and I needed to order only what I was going to eat. I had just got out of the hospital a few days prior to this visit and wasn't feeling well to begin with. My father then proceeded to tell her that I just can't eat much but couldn't finish his statement before getting cut off by the woman who was yelling at him. This is the strangest action I have ever experienced in any restaurant. A very bad experience and we will not be returning

Good, hometown food. Love their broasted chicken. Wonderful service, nice people. Not fancy, but who cares when the food is so good. Very reasonable pricing.
