Upon stepping inside, it felt like a time warp back to 1976 with its unchanged decor. The nostalgia hit me as I savored every bite of the perfectly-balanced pizza that brought back fond memories of my teenage years. Despite the modest appearance of the place, the authentic taste and generous toppings make it a worthwhile stop for any pizza lover passing through town.

Every pizza, and I mean everyone I have gotten from there has been burnt on the bottom and the crust is usually hard and unedible! What gives? I always tip and never complain until my daughter got one there last week and it was perfect! I am guessing I am the chosen one and now I am worried about other things they may have done to our pizza!

I tried D'Antonios pizza for the first time 10 years ago. It is by far the best pizza around. The sauce is sweet. The crust is unique I haven't tasted any other crust that could compare. I wish they would offer a stuffed crust. I bet it would be even better.

After 40 years, it's still good. Great garden toppings, sauce, cheese, and meat, and a thick crust with a unique subtle sweetness about it. It was our pizza when I was young, and it's still my favorite pizza in the world. I live out-of-state now but I always appreciate it when I can drop by D'Antonio's in Lodi for an extra large deluxe, and imagine I'm 12 again and it's Saturday night at my best friend's house. Was there two weeks ago and every minute was fantastic.

Have eaten D'Antonio's pizza for over 20 years and have only been unhappy a handful of times. The sauce is memorable and the cheese is always plentiful. Give them a half hour and you have a great dinner. My family always looks forward to having their pizza when they come to visit.
