The restaurant offers excellent food, service, and a funky, festive decor that I really enjoy. Each dining room has its own special charm, such as the "boat-house" area that I particularly like. The outdoor dining area in the summer is also a really nice touch that adds to the overall experience. My experiences dining here with family and friends have all been wonderful, making it my favorite restaurant.

was taken to The Dock for a special career milestone celebration -- group had RSVP'd well in advance (they knew I "love" fish - so thought it would be a treat for my wife & me). We were packed in like sardines, waitress had a hard time getting to folks -- had to "yell" to get our orders b/c it was so noisy. Eventually the orders came --- were a number of "mis-orders" that were corrected, but more time. My char grilled salmon was more like charcoal! ... but by that time, knowing that others were becoming irritated by the service AND food, I was not about to add to their frustration and desire to to give us a "great evening". Bottom line, on the way home my wife & I agreed we'll never be back even tho we drive by it often and see plenty of cars there on the weekends.... FUNNY THING THO, as I've gotten to know folks in the immediate area, since we've now been in the area for many years, most of those cars in the parking lot are from "out of town" LOL ...and discovered in talking with others -- thought maybe we'd just been there on a "bad night"...I'm now among the many "local" folks who do NOT eat there!
