The restaurant is conveniently situated just off the highway, with ample parking available for customers. Upon entering, I was pleased to find a spacious interior with plenty of seating options. The service was attentive and prompt, and the menu offered a satisfying variety of dishes to choose from.

Our new favorite restaurant. I eat no meat, other than sea food, which makes finding places for us to dine out difficult and it took some time for us to finally try El Dorado. When we did we were just pleased from the beginning with spotless silver wear and large bowl of taccos and dip to munch on while we waited for our meal to be prepared.

The menu was a real treat for me because it featured a number of identified vegetarian choices in addition to separate seafood listings and descriptions that allowed me to identify non red meat containing individual items. I ordered a tilapia dinner that came on a huge platter with the unusually flavorful fish buried in a mixture of stir fried onions, mushrooms, peppers etc. at one end and burrito components at the other end that I could use to fill wraps served separately, foil wrapped and hot, to make my on custom burritos..

I have dined on fish in restaurants in Boston, New York City, Chicago, New Orleans and elsewhere that were supposedly famous for their renderings of fish dinners and can honestly say that I have never tasted better than what was served right here at our local El Dorado Mexican Restaurant today. I might also add that the plate was more than I could finish and the same was true for my wife who ordered a chicken dish so next visit it might be wise for us to order only one dinner and an extra plate and split the meal.

We have lived in Wilmington for several years now and just started eating at El Dorado - have always heard its good and after eating there I have to agree. We go there now about once a week. The waiters are so friendly and they have always given us good service and even gave suggestions on things to try new. I would recommend this restaurant for sure. :)

I have to say, I have had quite a lot of really good quality mexican restaurants and I can honestly say that it is in my top 5. I would definitely try it out especially if you go to college in wilmington. Would go there again

Terrible management. Rude and arrogant. Literally said "sometimes you get good service sometimes you get bad service" Wow!
