Best perch I ever had. Been coming here for years. Ate perch elsewhere and not as great as Jolly Rogers!!

Fried fish was good but very heavily battered. But my daughter ordered shrimp salad -she asked at counter what was in the salad and was told it was a bed of greens with shrimp on top. Based on all the food coming out of the kitchen, she expected either grilled or fried shrimp - But instead it was lettuce topped with a mound of tiny boiled shrimp from a can"¦not appetizing at all. Wish that detail was mentioned or written on the menu.

we make the trip every year at least twice to eat here.The food is always great...its a treat to have fresh perch dinners...in this part of the country...well worth making the trip for...we travel from Toledo...

Was there on fri., May 13, 2022. Stood in line for half hour to order and pay. Put my credit card in machine wrong way and the older lady at register jumped on me rather rudely for a simple mistake. She was a real smart aleck! Food was good but her attitude ruined my desire for a nice meal. I, and my friend with me won't be back. She needs an attitude adjustment!

We ate here for the first time 3 months ago. Now I drive 35 miles to get take out at least once a week. Calamari is fabulous

Drove up from Akron to spend day at Port Clinton. Called Jolly Rogers to order food and the phone recording said no phone orders. What? They always had phone orders at the previous place that was much smaller. Ruined our trip to Port Clinton. We ate at Red Lobster since my money is not good enough for call in orders. Getting too big for their on good. Don't eat at jolly rogers.

Was so excited to try this place. So many good reviews. Not sure why though. Order lobster bisque, it was in eatable. The onion rings dripping with grease and the fish sandwich was served on a bun nothing else except for the excess grease on it also. The one star was only because the waitress was kind.

Of course you want perch on Lake Erie. But 2 lobster rolls like this would cost $25 back east. And these are the best we've ever had in the Midwest. Definitely try them!!!
