During my recent visit to Redwood in Belpre, Ohio, I had a satisfying meal of fries and strips. The service was attentive and friendly towards both my father and me. Despite any negative reviews, I found everything at Redwood to be enjoyable and would recommend giving it a try.

Sad when you turn customers away because they are coming in 45 minutes before closing. We stopped to eat at 7:15 sign on door said open. People inside eating. Waitress stopped us at the door said we couldn't come in they were closing early. You wasn't closed yet so technically you should have served us. I told my family we should have went in in and set down. We probably would not have gotten waited on.

My favorite place for home style cooking. Staff is great and the pies are excellent! Thanks to Jean and staff for keeping a Belpre tradition going!

We were very disappointed in the Redwood Restaurant. We like to stop at the smaller, family owned restaurants off the interstates and when we pulled in here we were very hungry. We were soon VERY disappointed with the quality of the food. The pork chops were over cooked so badly they were almost inedible. All the food seemed to have come from a can or the freezer with nothing being fresh. We did see some nice looking pies in a case and heard the cook say she had baked some that very day, so we took a chance. Gladly, my pecan pie was very good. My wife chose the chocolate cream. After the first bite she asks, "Who puts merengue on chocolate cream?" Oh well, we'll know to drive on down the road the next time we're in Belpre, OH. ( Our waitresses were terrific!)
