Food is very good

My family ate breakfast at Silver Moon after church for years because there is no wait. All of the other breakfast restaurants in the area have at least a half hour wait on Sundays. The food is mediocre at best and the prices are average; we went there mostly to save time and be on our way. I never make food complaints at restaurants, and decided to suggest to the manager that they scoop the sour cream onto the dish instead of throwing a tiny "to go" sour cream cup on my plate. Also, there were no pancakes on the kids menu leaving our 6 year old with a heaving order of 4 huge pancakes from the regular menu. The owner, as he identified himself, came over to our table and was extremely rude. He said that the use of the disposable sour cream cups was to save him money. He claimed that there were pancakes on the kids menu and looked at it, and there were not. He never apologized or said that he would take our concerns into consideration. He had the waitress then throw another disposable sour cream cup onto our table to insult us. When I returned it to the counter, he said that he did not want to help us because we were never going to come back anyway. I was appalled at his behavior and found it hard to believe that he was the owner. There is no concern for customer service or food quality at this restaurant. Their concern is what is going to save them money. This is certainly no way to run a business that depends on customer satisfaction. Next Sunday we will be waiting in line at another restaurant. Scrambler Marie's is close by, and although they usually have a wait, I think it will be worth it for our family to have a better experience than a manager/ owner insulting us in front of our children.

Their food is delicious. Service is great. Atmosphere is cozy.
