The filet was perfect, paired with warm and crispy Saratoga chips, a fantastic salad bar, and tender prime rib, all enjoyed in a nostalgic setting with a lovely view, making for an exceptional dining experience that I'm eagerly anticipating repeating despite the long drive and dated interiors.

The filet was cooked perfectly, and the Saratoga chips were warm and crispy. The salad bar had a great selection, and the cooked carrots were a nice addition to the meal. The drive may take a bit of time, but the view and the food make it worth it. Can't wait to go back!

My family drove out an hour to the restaurant on Father's Day 6/18 to celebrate with our dad, to find out the restaurant was closed for the day! We called a week before to make reservations and they never mentioned that they would be closed on this day.
Spillway Lodge restaurant lost a longtime customer for sure, you cannot operate a business in this way and think it's going to be successful in anyway whatsoever!

Drove an hour on father's day only to find it closed. Checked their website the night before and said it was open Sunday 12-8 don't know why you have a website if you don't let people know when you're going to be closed

This is just a beautiful destination supper club in the country. Dress is clean casual, Buffet is wonderful, Steaks are melt-in-your mouth. Looks out at Cowan Lake spillway. Cowan Lake is great, it's more peaceful than most are in Ohio. Because boats are limited to 10 HP motors, it's scenic with lots of sailboats, canoes, and kayaks. Ride here on your motorcycle, check out the horse barn, relax.....

Worst dining experience I have ever had. 2 hour wait, although I understand because it was valentines day. Finally got seated and no one said a word to us for 30 minutes. Finally flagged down someone who said "oh hold on a sec" 15 minutes later a waitress showed up and took our orders. Then only saw her again when she brought our check. I ordered a steak medium well, showed up an hour later charred to a crisp on the outside and red and cold on the inside. And was very expensive. I will never go back.

Just got back from a graduation party there and I will never go back. Others from the restaurant were permitted by staff to CRASH our private reservation. They were rude, called us names and got in to a phusical altercation with the farher of the graduate. Management simply said there was nothing they could do, even though we had reserved the space several weeks ago. Trash people that frequent this place. If you have class this isn't the place for you. The prices are high for what we encountered. Spillway, alot of people attendeding the grad party were witness to how we were treated. This has cost you some business. But as lomg as this old drunk that caused all the trouble comes back I guess you don't really care. What a mess!!!!!!

Steaks and seafood. Not something I can afford every night but nice to go on special occasions. Great food and drink. Nicely furnished salad bar and a full bar service. Friendly people and nice view out the widows. Quaint and off the beaten path so look for the sign off Ohio SR 730.
