Steinkeller in uptown Oxford is a popular hangout spot for Miami University students, offering huge 40 oz steins of beer, generous portions of food, and delicious pretzels. The restaurant's basement location adds to the unique experience, with good signage for pedestrians but a hidden sign for drivers. The service is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the food, especially the schnitzel and beer cheese pretzel, is definitely worth trying.
