I highly recommend JY Bamboo Chinese restaurant in Fairborn, Ohio for its great lunch specials, huge portions, delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service, making it the best Chinese option in the area despite some minor drawbacks.

Fast and friendly service. Their food is well priced and delicious, good selection of different types of Asian foods. Love their sushi rolls!

We have been going to JY since it opened! We really appreciate its variety of dishes and the prices associated and a big plus is the delivery. Due to some severe allergies I have to modify many dishes that fit my needs. They have always been very helpful in helping me fit my requirements with their menu.
We love the fact that they deliver! In this area it is so difficult to find a place that delivers. They are on time - only once, when they first opened, were they late on a delivery. They are always polite and nice. Maybe the people who find them rude should look to themselves for the cause.
Some of my favorite dishes are: Walnut Chicken, Pad Thai, Sauteed Asparagus. They make an amazing tempura fried vegetables (eat in only) they do not make the trip home very well. Since I cannot eat items from the ocean, JY started having the option of bean curd paper to wrap vegetable rolls. Yummy!
Try them. Ambiance: so-so. Price: Dinner 7.50 - 11:45, Menu extensive.
We eat there at least twice a month. Develop your own opinion.

DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS!
After several times ordering delivery from the Fairborn JY Bamboo we finally decided not only to never order there again, but to make sure that this review is posted everywhere.
EVERY time you order delivery from them it will be at least a half hour later than what they tell you, if not a full hour later. So that generally means waiting about 2+ hours for food that is literally 5 minutes down the road.
(We don't just drive there because we work in the hospital and we're not allowed to leave for lunch.)
***This last time my coworker ordered online and gave her cell #, but since the food was an hour late she didn't tip. SHE GOT A TEXT ASKING WHY NO TIP.***
Oh, and god help you if you call to see if your food is on the way, because they are so snippy and hang up in your face.
I called them literally 2 minutes after they opened one day, and then called back when my food was a half hour past the time they said it would arrive. First, they told me it was on the way. When I called back about 25 min later, the guy yelled at me saying that I had only put in the order an hour ago so I needed to be patient, when in reality I had ordered it 2 hours ago and they had apparently just failed to put it in the computer.
I almost never write reviews on anything unless the service is absolutely outstanding, or absolutely horrible. Guess which one this is.
