The variety of dishes we tried were all exceptional, and the appetizers were a delicious start to our meal. Despite the distance, the quality of the food and the unique dining experience make it worth the drive, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowd during our visit.

Just left....waited over an hour and 45 minutes for really so so food. Fish and chips was nothing but a grease sponge. Salmon was so so. Service was lousy. Server kept blaming a large party in the other room. We waited over half an hour to get our salad. When we walked in it took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we existed after we were seated. When I asked for a wine refill ( no food yet ), I watched as my server talked to patrons at the bar for 10 minutes. Then she poured my refill and blamed the barmaid. Always the sign of a poor server when they blame everyone else. The real tell tale sign of a poor operation is when I complained as I left to the "person in charge". She was surprised that service was slow. All you had to do is walk through the room and see that things were totally disorganized. Definitely a management and training problem. We used to come here before it closed about a year ago. Very disappointed.

Menu is awful. Waitress apologizes for the menu changes that occurred two months ago. Had the McKenzie burger for $12.00. Paired with some kind of off flavored cheese and an egg. Tasted really strange. Left really bad after taste. Nobody around us was having anything but appetizers after seeing the menu. That should have been a tip.

Should have gone to the brick. At least there is food you can identify and eat.
