02/13/2016 - Bobbie Donat
Have been eating at Country Kitchen for many, many years. Since Rick made improvements to the interior, it is a really nice place. And the "home-cooked" food is even better that it used to be. Their breakfast omelets with grits and biscuits and gravy are great. For lunch we both had veggie plates with beets, slaw, pinto beans (and they know how to cook them beans!) potato salad and it all tasted like my Mother had cooked it! On Sunday they always have chicken & dressing with good choices of veggies on the side. Their coffee is always fresh and the home-made chocolate cake will melt in your mouth. Some of the pies don't look to be home-made, but everything else does. Their catfish is also great. The ladies are friendly and appreciate their customers. We drive an hour and forty-five minutes just to eat there!
