Visiting from out of town, we were eager to sample the chicken fried steak at The Oaks. Prepare to arrive hungry, as the hearty, home-cooked meals do not disappoint. The service was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience a memorable one.

I love their salmon dinner. I was very pleased. Some of tge best salmon I've eaten in the area.. Highly recommend.

Just had the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. Waited over an hour for food. A family of four arrived 30 minutes after us and was getting their food when I had had enough waiting. Went to pay for drinks and the lady behind the counter said they would be out soon. She left and after another 10 minutes came back and said it would be free. She then rang me up for the whole bill. I told her she just said no charge and she replied her manager was not there and with an attitude said she wasn't paying for it. I was just in total shock. I paid for the food. Steaks were well done and was given to plain baked potatoes. I just still can't believe the trick she played. Won't be back.

We love this restaurant, we eat here almost every week! They have the best salad bar in town, bar none! Great food, prices & excellent service from a friendly staff!

Wilted side salad, awful chicken fried steak and the worst mashed potatoes ever.
One waitress in the entire restaurant. She did the best she could, but she was in a hurry to end her shift.
Will think twice about going back.
Also, the person at the register needs to be replaced.
