The service at Waffle Shoppe was exceptional, with all our meals arriving within 5-10 minutes of ordering. I enjoyed a delicious Belgian waffle topped with blueberries and cream, while my husband opted for a cheeseburger and fries, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the friendly staff, made for a truly enjoyable dining experience that felt reminiscent of classic cafes.

I dont know what the person below me is talkin about. I visited there last year and thught it was amazing... besides being tricked by the sign looking like waffle house which was very funny. The food was great and the staff was excellent. I will definetly be eating there again when i visit Durant.

The Waffle Shoppe (with its little logo cleverly designed to fool the lesser alert members of the public into thinking they're visiting the well-known Waffle House) is a disappointment in every way. The food is mediocre AT BEST, and usually is utterly disgusting. I ordered a side of bacon and got two tiny pieces of charred meat, I'm not sure what it was because I didn't eat it. On the other hand, the pancakes were underdone and doughy in the middle. I'm not sure how sanitary the kitchen is because there were greasy smears along the top of my glass that looked suspiciously like someone had already been drinking out if it... gross! That was the last time I went there. The first two times weren't as bad, but the waffles I got had no flavor, and the grilled cheese was cold and came with a tiny handful of chips, served by a person of indeterminate gender. The prices aren't too great either, and when you consider the poor quality of the food they're outrageous. The whole restaurant seemed sticky and grimy. I suggest going somewhere else if you possibly can. To top things off, all three members of my party got sick the last time we were there! And the cook who is there overnight on weekends spends a lot of time standing randomly in the dining room, looking stoned! Unless of course he's outside taking a smoke break!
