Definitely the best restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Such a unique location, decor, food and service. Everything felt like it was prepared with love just got me and my wife. The view cannot be beat.

Anyone who doesn't think this is the best restaurant West of OKC., simply hasn't tried to find a good steak or Chicken Breast, within 100 miles of here! I don't care where you're from, this dining experience is tops! Great History of the building, cheese boards are wonderful, huge drink/Wine/Beer selections, and the staff are very knowledgable and friendly. The amazing view from atop "White Dog Hill", is endless, and during 4th of July, you can watch the Fireworks, over Clinton. Whether you want a great steak after work, or a dressed-up night to remember, White Dog is definately the best around!

The steak was ok but very over priced. The salad was warm, the potatoes were frozen, Mo bread. A bean dish that was all kinds of canned beans mixed together. Also cats that came in when a door was opened. The waiter would carry them out and another one would in.

Please bear in mind, I am from Dallas. The atmosphere was great, the food selection is very limited,1 page to 3 pages of alcohol.
Some of us ordered the 16 ounce rib eye which was very good, it was a little too charred for me but everyone enjoyed theirs, the corn/bean/chipotle side was very flavorful, but the baked potato was a little old and dry.
The butter for the baked potato was served in foil packets on the dinner plate which was a little low class for the restaurant.
Overall, service was good and will definitely go there again, I know how to correct the little disappointments.

An amazing location with amazing view, fabulous food, and great wine selection. Worth the drive from Oklahoma City or points west of Clinton. One of my favorite treats after a long week. So glad Oklahoma has this little known jewel.

Excellent food! Wonderful steak and interesting sides.
We had great service with a large group. Love the atmosphere.
Kind of like Tuscany not western Oklahoma!! Will definitely be back!!

This is one of Oklahoma's/Route 66's/Clinton's best kept secrets! What a unique dining experience in a place so steeped in history and restored with such personal loving care by one man. As they say, "Come for the view...stay for the food!" I would add the drinks...and the service...and the ambiance...and the experience. Thank you Nelson for your vision in creating such an amazing gathering place!!!
