I stumbled upon this hidden gem in a sketchy part of town, but the tacos and tamales were surprisingly authentic and delicious. The carnitas were spot on, juicy and flavorful, while the pan dulces were a bit of a letdown, almost always stale. Despite the questionable cilantro and coagulated salsa verde, the flavors easily earned this place 4 stars - a great little-known spot for true Mexican cuisine.
