The Chicken Shack is a chicken dive restaurant with incredible personality! We have an outdoor venue called The Backyard and a heated/enclosed patio with TVs and live music often.

The chicken was delicious and the atmosphere was lively, with large tables for big groups. The only downside was the presence of a lot of flies, but the service was attentive.

I got the gizzards, which I have always enjoyed. However, there were a few too many that weren't cleaned well. They still had pieces of the inner lining on the gizzard, which as anyone knows, are tough, rubbery and b worst of all, bitter. Gizzards should never have any of the lining left on them!

Chicken and pork chops are always great. Had the hot link "sandwich" today, it was a hot link on a hotdogs bun. For $10 and being called a sandwich i would hope it would be 2 hotkinks on a burger bun or Texas toast. But I'll know next time, otherwise very good.

Better than Eischen’s by far!!!! No combat seating! Plenty of sides! Great prices and music sometimes too. Smoked prime rib is fantastic as well.
